Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting of journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports for management.
- Coordinate and assist in the year-end and interim audit process, working with external auditors.
- Monitor and manage cash flow forecasting requirements required by Corporate headquarters.
- Ensure accuracy of fixed assets, depreciation, and capital expenditure tracking.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights for decision-making.
- Help implement and maintain internal processes and controls.
- Support Controller in ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and projects.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in assistant controller or equivalent role.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with obtaining accounting information from ERP and related information systems (e.g., EPICOR, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
