Specific Duties / Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a shipping/ logistics environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role (required).

- Lead and manage all shipping operations, including planning, execution, and analysis of shipping processes
- Supervise shipping personnel, providing training, support, and performance evaluations
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance including USDA, OSHA, DOT, and others
- Oversee inventory management related to shipping supplies and materials
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the shipping department to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to shipping operations
- Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and meet production demands
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, ensuring that corrective actions are taken
- Perform other related duties as required to support overall shipping functions
