Job Summary
The Clinical Supervisor, Substance Use Residential Programs will provide day-to-day leadership and management of staff in assigned residential programs. Ensures residential programs are operational and all aspects of the program are fully implemented. Provides oversite of day-to-day consumer activities, orders supplies, provides staff supervision and training, and assists with referral and discharge planning as needed. Provides direct services as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
Directly supervises staff that work in Substance Use Disorder Residential programs.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Exemplifies and promotes the principles of Service Excellence in all actions and activities.
- Applies principles of process improvement model to improve care coordination.
- Ensures assigned staff are current on all mandatory and agency required trainings.
- Conducts random chart reviews to ensure that staff are documenting according to standards of care and according to policy.
- Maintains a current consumer program schedule that is adhered to and supported by documentation.
- Ensures a minimum of a two-week work schedule for DSPs for each residential program is completed.
- Reviews video footage weekly (where available) to ensure that staff are completing their job duties as they were trained/per policy/protocol.
- Provides individual, family, and group therapy according to consumer needs.
- Assists with marketing efforts to promote program.
- Provides supervision and oversite to assigned staff, including clinical and administrative supervision, performance management and evaluation, and timekeeping activities.
- Participates in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Ensures all grant reports are submitted accurately and timely when assigned.
- Maintains a working knowledge of center policies and procedures, licensure regulations, CARF Standards, Medicaid, and other regulatory bodies governing Prestera's service delivery.
- Writes quality reports and correspondence.
- Attends all departmental and center meetings/trainings as assigned.
- Adheres to confidentiality, HIPAA, and risk management policies and procedures including but not limited to completing Incident Reports.
- Participates in other functional work by participating in related projects, as applicable and directed by Center leadership.
Directly supervises staff that work in Substance Use Disorder Residential programs.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience, Knowledge, And Skill Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to learn, navigate, and work with data to track outcomes, trends, and performance indicators.
- Ability to address crisis situations to prevent a higher level of intervention.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in conjunction with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and meet work deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Master’s degree in human services field. Licensure required.
- Maintains First Aid/CPR certification.
- Maintains current crisis prevention/intervention training.
