Description
Summary of Job Function: Provide employment services to individuals with disabilities; such as coaching, coordination, training, and consultation. The primary goal of the position is to help clients find independence and integrated employment.
Qualifications
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential Functions:
1. Refer individuals to the Department of Rehabilitation Services.
2. Refer individuals to employers assisting with applications, resumes, and interviewing skills.
3. Provide on the job training which will assist with transitioning into the workplace.
4. Act as a liaison between Prestera, the clients employer, and the client.
5. Keep accurate records of client activities and produce for appropriate agencies upon request.
6. Ensure that services are provided in a manner that complies with all internal and external agency policies.
7. Ability to work with local businesses and/or appropriate agencies to development relationships
8. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications:
1. Education, Certification/License, and/or Experience
a. Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
b. Drivers license and access to reliable transportation is required.
c. Obtain and maintain CPR/FA and CPI certifications.
2. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required: Must possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence. Must possess excellent organizational skills, time management skills, verbal and written communication skills, and public speaking skills. The ability to travel locally is also required of the position.
