Provides direct services as needed.

The Team Leader will provide day-to-day leadership to program and staff. Duties And Responsibilities
- Promotes the principles of Service Excellence in all actions and activities.
- Provides mentoring as needed to ensure quality of care and consistency in practice.
- Collaborates with department leadership in the care delivered to consumers to ensure seamless, effective service delivery.
- Maintains inventory and orders supplies.
- Assists with scheduling of staff.
- Completes off hours shift checks to ensure program protocols, policies and guidelines are met.
- Ensures consumer safety rounds are being done timely and accurately.
- Oversees safety of consumers and directs emergency situations that may arise in the programs.
- Encourages independence and self-promoting behaviors from consumers in day-to-day interactions.
- Engages with consumers to help them understand the role of their medication (if appropriate) and the importance of support systems in maintaining their recovery.
- Provides activities for consumers to assist them with skill development as well as providing leisure care activities.
- Provides administrative supervision as needed to ensure program fidelity.
- Ensures all necessary reporting is submitted accurately and timely.
- Maintains a current working knowledge of center policies and procedures, licensure regulations, CARF Standards, Assisted Living, Medicaid, and other regulatory bodies governing Prestera's service delivery.
- Writes quality reports and correspondence.
- Attends all departmental and center meetings/trainings as assigned.
- Adheres to confidentiality, HIPAA, and risk management policies and procedures including but not limited to completing Incident Reports.
- Participates in other functional work by participating in related projects, as applicable and directed by Center leadership.
Supervises staff that work in program/service line.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience, Knowledge, And Skill Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in program/service line.
- Minimum of 6 months supervisory experience or demonstrates management or leadership abilities.
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to address crisis situations to prevent a need for higher intervention.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in conjunction with strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work with deadlines.
- Ability to work in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Minimum of high school diploma with 1-year experience.
- Maintains First Aid/CPR certification.
- Maintains current crisis prevention/intervention training.
