Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong focus on customer service
Duties
- Safely drive and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and any issues encountered during transport.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status or any changes in schedule.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving box trucks or vans preferred; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or courier environment is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
