Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, and outpatient clinics. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of patients while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Patient care: Help patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and other daily tasks
- Medication: Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Vital signs: Take and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and other vital signs
- Documentation: Document patient care and maintain health records
- Communication: Discuss care with patients and report changes in condition to RNs or physicians
- Equipment: Assemble and use equipment like catheters, tracheotomy tubes, or oxygen suppliers
- Patient teaching: Assist in patient teaching assignments
- Supervision: Supervise nursing assistants or aides
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience and must be properly licensed, updated TBTest and completed a BLS course.
