Overview

We are seeking an experienced NY Licensed Banking and Finance Attorney with over ten years of experience representing both borrowers and lenders in complex middle-market commercial lending transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney to work on sophisticated financing deals, contributing to a respected practice with a history of service to the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Represent borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured financing transactions
• Negotiate, structure, and document a variety of financing deals, including:
• Commercial mortgage transactions
• Acquisition financings
• Asset-based financings
• Senior, mezzanine, and subordinated debt transactions
• Cross-border financings
• Opinion letters
• Advise on a range of financing projects, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with client goals
  
  

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in banking and finance law
• Expertise in representing borrowers and lenders in commercial lending transactions
• Experience with secured and unsecured financing, acquisition financing, asset-based lending, and cross-border transactions
• Strong negotiation, structuring, and documentation skills
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of commercial mortgage transactions, senior, mezzanine, and subordinated debt
• Familiarity with opinion letters and cross-border financings
