Java / Python Full Stack Developer

This is a 6 Month Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a Fullstack Developer to join a hybrid onsite team in New York City.

The role involves developing and enhancing an ecosystem around loans with a focus on backend microservices, front-end development, and middleware integration.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in Java Spring, Python, AWS, and React with TypeScript, and will have experience with GraphQL for data aggregation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build microservices using Spring Boot and Python for API development.
• Develop new REST APIs with Java and React (TypeScript).
• Work with GraphQL to query and aggregate data from various sources (e.g., APIs, databases, data lakes).
• Implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and EC2.
• Design and develop middleware solutions using Python and Java.
• Contribute to a large-scale ecosystem for loan management, including securitizing and distributing loans.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java Spring and Python for full-stack development.
• Expertise in AWS, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and EC2.
• Experience with GraphQL for querying and aggregating data.
• Strong front-end development skills using React with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of REST API development and integration.
• Must reside within a commutable distance to New York City and be able to work in a hybrid onsite environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial services or loan management systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) or related financial products.
