Key Responsibilities
- Occupational Health:
- Assess and treat work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct general physical examinations.
- Administer medications and injections as needed.
- Perform laboratory collections and special testing such as:
- Audiogram
- Pulmonary function testing
- Respirator fit tests
- Drug and alcohol screens, including breath alcohol and drug screens.
- Acute Episodic Care:
- Treat common illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, headaches, sore throats, and gastrointestinal complaints.
- Manage sprains, strains, lacerations, rashes, and urinary tract infections (UTIs).
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Kentucky (KY).
- Strong clinical skills and experience in occupational health and urgent care settings.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform and interpret diagnostic tests related to occupational health.
