What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDJR Mobile Technician position at Prestige Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram?
Prestige Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking for an accomplished CDJR Automotive Technician to join our Mobile Service team!
This Technician will be hybrid of outstanding customer service, mechanical skills, and problem solving abilities.
The right candidate will be a self-starter, a motivated and driven individual who doesn't say why they can't, but instead finds a way to succeed - every time.
Must have excellent communication skills, be tech savvy, level headed and trustworthy to lead a Mobile Service team.
Must possess solid diagnostic skills, ASE Certifications, be proficient with Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram vehicles.
Must possess a clean MVR, a solid driving record, exceptional customer service skills, and have a solid history of training/certifications.
Must be comfortable and able to inspect and up-sell services based on inspections, as well as perform required mechanical work with confidence.
Stellantis FCA brand experience as well as current ASE preferred, but not required. On going training is available and will be required as well.
Must have tools, and be willing to adapt as needed, both with special tools and scheduling, Mobile Service can require an unexpected change of jobs and locations.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YRS EXPERIENCE WITH CDJR BRANDS!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
- Read and familiarize yourself with the procedure for performing software updates and factory recalls.
- Perform Factory Recalls, Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles.
- Communicate directly with the Mobile Service Advisor and Parts Department, maintaining an efficient workload. Complete digital multi-point inspection report using hand written inspections, Xtime software and Dealertrack Software and Bizzycar platform.
- Be proficient with Mitchell Pro Demand, Indentifix, and other applicable repair resources.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform quality control test drive when required following repairs on every vehicle.
