RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers in person and on the phone, set appointments and assist walk in clients
- Obtain all detailed information from the customer about their concerns, and document it accurately
- Update and maintain all customer records, customer information as well as vehicle repairs and history
- Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on Tech inspections, mileage and history of vehicle
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
- Manage a large volume of work, and diligently update customers, technicians and parts
- Establish follow up time and estimated time of completion
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
- Communicate with all departments clearly and respectfully
- Manage work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
- Work with 3rd party warranty companies and advocate for customers with coverage
- Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
- Explain all completed work and charges to customers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Past or current experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or a Service Consultant required
- Proven record of achieving exceptional Customer Satisfaction
- Be a team player and a fast learner, attitude is everything
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be computer literate, tech savvy
- Have a valid driver’s license, drive a manual transmission
- Have a desire for a long term career with a growing organization
- Have high levels of personal and professional integrity, and outstanding work ethic
- Dealertrack and Xtime DMS software experience a plus, Microsoft and other platforms
