About Prestige Cleaners
Founded in 1964, Prestige Cleaners is one of the largest dry cleaners in the State of Arizona with 7 retail locations all within the city of Scottsdale, AZ and approximately 50 full time employees. Prestige Cleaners is an eco-friendly cleaner that serves both consumers (upper middle class & affluent) as well as businesses within Scottsdale. Prestige Cleaners provides pick up & delivery, wash & fold laundry, dry cleaning, alteration work, wedding dress preservation, and cushion cleaning.
Prestige Cleaners has aggressive growth plans and therefore the Company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Operations to lead our organization into its next phase of growth and success. Direct dry-cleaning experience is not required, but strong leadership and operational expertise are essential.
Role Overview
The Vice President of Operations will be the driving force behind Prestige Cleaners' operations, growth strategy, and organizational culture. This individual will have full profit-and-loss (P&L) accountability and will oversee all aspects of the business, from financial performance to operational excellence and team development. Reporting directly to the owner, the Vice President of Operations will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve business growth, operational efficiency, and financial goals.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive innovation in service delivery and customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility, ensuring financial health of the Company.
- Drive profitability by optimizing cost structures and identifying areas of operational improvement.
- Provide regular financial updates and reports to ownership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Operational Oversight:
- Ensure seamless daily operations across all seven locations, maintaining the highest standards of quality and service
- Solve problems promptly to maintain a high standard of service and ensure smooth business continuity.
- Team Management:
- Hire, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage employee performance, implement training programs, and handle terminations with professionalism when necessary.
- Communication:
- Maintain open and transparent communication with ownership through regular updates and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support company initiatives and priorities.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in a senior leadership role within multi-location retail, ideally within dry cleaning.
- Strong understanding of financial management and P&L responsibility.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- Proficiency in tracking and analyzing KPIs to inform decision-making.
