Facilities Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in facilities maintenance.

• Duties

• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair facility equipment
• Reviews service requests for repairs and maintenance, determines nature of problem, and recommends appropriate solution.
• Leads and directs by assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
• Coordinates work with outside contractors.
• Assures code and building standards are met.
• Performs repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on buildings and facilities, equipment, fixtures, and systems.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains facility systems including patch & paint.
• Assists in the movement of furniture, materials, and equipment as required.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Experience
Required:
- Experience in facilities maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
Nice-to-have:
- Leadership skills to coordinate maintenance tasks effectively

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
High School graduate or demonstrated equivalent.

3 years of experience in area of specialization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.59 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
