What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Staff position at Prestige Event Design?
Prestige Event Design, a wedding planning & decor company located in Clifton Heights, PA is looking for contractors - event staff to work with us during the upcoming wedding season. We are located in Clifton Heights, PA. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, energetic, and hard-working.
Our weddings are mainly in Philadelphia/ Delaware / New Jersey.
Job Types: Contract
Pay: From $12-$14 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hours shift
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Responsibilities
- facilities and manage all décor details
- Help setting up and breaking down for the events
- Help unloading/loading equipment from trucks and setting up venues for events, including chairs, backdrops
- Working under the Organize instructions of the Event Manager
- Ensuring excellent levels of customer service
- Setting up lighting and sound equipment if needed
- Packing up equipment when the event is completed
- Break down at the end of the event

- Friendly attitude even when dealing with disgruntled clientele
- Highly adaptable to various situations and visitor needs
- Ability to problem solve quickly and find effective solutions to issues that arise
