Prestige Global Meeting Source, founded in 1986, provides site selection and event services to clients. Our experienced sales partners work to find and contract the best possible hotels, resorts, DMCs, and cruises for groups and continue through to full-service event development and management.
What will I do?
The Sr. Program Manager, Event Services Operations, will expertly manage and coordinate a high volume of customer events ensuring alignment with client expectations and Prestige’s strategic goals. This position is responsible for managing stakeholders and executing complex projects from inception to completion. This position is located in Minneapolis and will require working in office during training and onboarding. Position will then work remotely with required days in our Minneapolis office for scheduled meetings and events.
Key Accountabilities
· Strategically collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into substantial business opportunities.
· Efficiently coordinate a high volume of local and regional customer events.
· Develop and manage a comprehensive budget.
· Expertly facilitate attendee experience with our Technology team through sophisticated website and registration site design, as well as advanced mobile apps.
· Embrace the spirit of hospitality to create exceptional experiences for participants and co-workers.
· Provide comprehensive support to our Associate Program Managers for customer service and attendee management, including accommodation requests, session RSVPs, travel manifests, proofing reports, and name badge production.
· Expertly manage planning services such as meeting space set-up, food & beverage, air arrangements, ground transportation, communication pieces, mailing, and shipping.
· Collaborate and manage stakeholders to flawlessly execute events from inception to completion.
· Assist team members in meticulously planning and organizing internal and external business-related meetings, symposiums, conferences, and program events.
· Exhibit exceptional customer and collaboration skills in promotion of a collaborative team environment.
· Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Required Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or G.E.D., and 8 years of extensive experience in event management, including planning conferences, incentives, association, and/or corporate events.
· Passion for and ability to travel up to 25% of the time and work outside of normal business hours including evenings and weekends.
· Exceptional communication skills including the ability to articulate vision, and inspire and motivate others.
· Proven ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
· Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, time management, computer, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong project management and change management skills.
· Proficiency with CVENT technology and MS Office
· Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate in a team environment.
· Positive, friendly, and approachable attitude with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including an understanding of how decisions affect departments and the organization.
· Must be a team player who can effectively listen, build relationships, and remain calm under pressure.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
