We are looking for a Service Technician to join our Team. You will run diagnostic tests and perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on golf cars. Typical job duties include checking fluid levels, rotating tires, changing oil and other fluids, and replacing batteries and belts. You must also be familiar with steering, suspension, brakes, and sound systems. We prefer candidates who have extensive automotive repair experience, mechanical skills, strong diagnostic ability, and are ASE certified.
A few different responsibilities include performing alignments, diagnosing, and repairing brake systems, preventative maintenance on both electric and gas engine carts, oil changes, replacing filters, installing shocks and struts, installing lift kits, mounting, and dismounting of tires and wheels, electric motor conversions, battery conversion upgrades or simplistic lead acid replacement. Must be capable and comfortable lifting heavy parts multiple times a day. Custom work, 12v accessories is also expected, stereo additions, various LED accessories. Custom fabrication knowledge is a plus! A successful ServiceTechnician will be detail-oriented, have extensive mechanical knowledge and display great physical dexterity. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run diagnostic tests.
- Test functionality of parts.
- Perform basic repairs.
- Complete routine maintenance, including oil changes.
- Replace or charge batteries.
- Mount and rotate tires.
- Provide labor and time estimates.
- Document processes and service repairs using a computer.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports using Aspen Software.
- Clock in and out of job orders.
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company’s procedures and protocols.
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate. recommendations/briefings.
- Repairing or modifying a cart to a client’s specifications.
- Tools are not required but recommended based on skill level.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Automotive, Motorsport industries or equipment maintenance
- Organizational skills
- Experience with both mechanical and hydraulic brake systems
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Ability to handle various tools
- Dexterity and coordination
- Troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with complex electronic control systems
- Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment well
- Exceptional ability to perform in a noisy, humid, hot, and high-volume machine production environment.
- Ability to lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Excellent physical condition, high attention to detail, and self-motivation skills
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
- Valid Certification (e.g., ASE) is a definite plus

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
