We are looking for an individual that is highly motivated and has a strong sales background, understanding of basic service needs of a customer and an ability to lead a team. This position will conduct sales out in the field and at our location. The store Manager is also responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients.
The Store Manager will lead the Prestige team and market to Golf Course Communities, Neighborhood Communities, Storage facilities, Schools, Colleges, Resorts, Apartments, Condo Associations, Conference centers, Speedways, Sporting Venues and leagues, valet services, and many more.
Job Summary:
The store managers primary responsibility will be to engage customers, demonstrate product knowledge, and close sales deals. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise all departments, sales, service, parts and rentals. Manage all sales leads from consumers and commercial customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Represent Prestige Golf Cars at local sponsored tournaments and other local events/shows.
- Responsible for outside sales of golf carts and commercial carts, leasing, and development for overall Prestige business.
- Representing every division of Prestige to grow clientele for sales, service, parts, and rentals.
- Call on courses with communities that golf carts can or could be used in.
- Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Develops and implements strategies for sales in an assigned region.
- Guide customer in selecting the most suitable golf cart based on their requirements, preferences and budgets.
- Provide accurate and detail product information to customers, ensuring their safety during the process.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, service and parts department and ensure all golf carts are presentable.
- Process sales transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and financing options.
- Coordinate with service department to address customer inquiries regarding repairs, warranty coverage, and maintenance services.
- Keep up to date on current trends in golf carts, industry news, and competitor information.
- Call on communities and golf courses and sept up demo days to promote the company and services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 3 or more years of managing in a retail and/or commericial environemnt.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times.

- Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required.
