Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Clinical Director with expertise in managing clinical operations, developing treatment plans, and overseeing case management services. The ideal candidate will have experience with CARF accreditation and a deep understanding of clinical best practices and regulatory standards. This role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, developing and implementing clinical programs, and leading a team of case managers and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership and Program Development
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical programs and services aligned with CARF standards and best practices.
- Oversee the creation and execution of individualized treatment plans to meet client needs.
- Ensure clinical services are evidence-based and client-centered.
- Establish and implement clinical policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and compliance.
- Monitor program outcomes and adjust strategies to improve client care and operational efficiency.
Team Management and Supervision
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical staff, including case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Oversee hiring, training, and professional development of clinical staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement.
Compliance and Accreditation
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Lead the preparation and execution of CARF accreditation processes and maintain ongoing compliance.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Implement corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
Client Care and Case Management
- Oversee the development and implementation of client treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Handle escalated client issues and resolve conflicts promptly and effectively.
Strategic Planning and Reporting
- Develop and manage the clinical department budget.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on clinical outcomes, staff performance, and program effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and program improvement.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives to align clinical services with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or a related field.
- Licensed Clinical Professional (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical management experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
- CARF accreditation experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of clinical standards, treatment planning, and case management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in mental health, substance abuse, or integrated care settings.
- Familiarity with Medicaid(SoonerCare), Medicare, and private insurance requirements.
- Crisis management and conflict resolution skills.
