Job Title: Clinical Director

Location: Mayes County, OK; Tulsa County, OK, Wagoner County,OK; Cherokee County, OK
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Executive Director


Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Clinical Director with expertise in managing clinical operations, developing treatment plans, and overseeing case management services. The ideal candidate will have experience with CARF accreditation and a deep understanding of clinical best practices and regulatory standards. This role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, developing and implementing clinical programs, and leading a team of case managers and clinical staff.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership and Program Development

  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical programs and services aligned with CARF standards and best practices.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of individualized treatment plans to meet client needs.
  • Ensure clinical services are evidence-based and client-centered.
  • Establish and implement clinical policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and compliance.
  • Monitor program outcomes and adjust strategies to improve client care and operational efficiency.


Team Management and Supervision

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical staff, including case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and professional development of clinical staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement.


Compliance and Accreditation

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of CARF accreditation processes and maintain ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Implement corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives as needed.


Client Care and Case Management

  • Oversee the development and implementation of client treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and goals.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Handle escalated client issues and resolve conflicts promptly and effectively.


Strategic Planning and Reporting

  • Develop and manage the clinical department budget.
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on clinical outcomes, staff performance, and program effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion and program improvement.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives to align clinical services with organizational goals.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Licensed Clinical Professional (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical management experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
  • CARF accreditation experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical standards, treatment planning, and case management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in mental health, substance abuse, or integrated care settings.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid(SoonerCare), Medicare, and private insurance requirements.
  • Crisis management and conflict resolution skills.
