Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various facilities, including commercial spaces and hospitals. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both employees and visitors.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Conduct floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, and buffing floors as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to environmental services guidelines.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety protocols while performing cleaning duties.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures in various environments, particularly in hospitals or healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards related to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
