Job Summary
We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to join Prestige Logistics, LLC. As the Vice President of Sales, you will be overseeing the day-to-day activities of your sales. You must have a book of business to bring with you. This is a must. VP of Sales will work closely with our operations team or you can do everything on your owe. Prestige Logistics is a Transportation Brokerage Company. We handle all sorts of Truckload business as well as LTL. Prestige Logistics has been around for over 35 years in the trucking business.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the day-to-day activities of your sales and operations
- Provide guidance and help with difficult sales situations
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new leads, sales initiatives, and sales opportunities
- Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as needed
- Interview, hire, and train new staff members
- Work closely with multiple departments and maintain strong relationships and lines of communication
Qualifications
- Extensive sales and management experience desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed
- Must have a book of business to bring over to justify salary and commission
- Experience using basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
