Position Overview: Prestige is seeking a Business Development and Project Manager with a background in engineering or sales to help manage ongoing projects, develop new business opportunities, create proposals, and support sales initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with ~5 years of experience in sales, engineering, and/or project management who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering manager and sales team to coordinate and manage active projects, as well as develop proposals and presentations for new projects. The role will occasionally involve working on outside sales efforts, requiring a balance of technical know-how and customer-facing communication.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the engineering manager and sales team to coordinate and manage projects, ensuring smooth execution, alignment, timely delivery and consistent communication with customers.
· Use CRM systems to track leads, progress, and project milestones, and provide regular updates to management.
· Prepare and present detailed quotes, proposals, and presentations for new projects.
· Prospect and develop new business by identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, conducting site visits to assess project requirements, collaborating with customers to understand specifications and objectives, and presenting optimal solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
· 5 years of experience in sales, engineering, and/or project management, ideally within a technical or industrial field.
· Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, while also understanding customer needs from both a business and technical perspective.
· Excellent project management skills, including the ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
· Experience in preparing proposals, quotes, and presentations.
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is a plus.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
· Willingness to learn and grow within a family-oriented, small to medium-sized company.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
· A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a sales, engineering, and/or project management role.
