Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Land Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in providing financial insights and planning support for our development projects, ensuring strategic and profitable decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and an understanding of the land development industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models to support land development projects. Analyze project budgets, financial forecasts, and profitability.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget performance, track expenses, and analyze variances to ensure financial targets are met.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Ensure models are accurate and up-to-date.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and analysis.
- Data Management: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data related to land development projects. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support Project Evaluation: Support the team that conducts financial feasibility studies for new land acquisitions and development projects meant to evaluate potential returns on investment and associated risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and other departments to gather information, understand project needs, and support financial planning efforts.
- Compliance: Ensure financial practices comply with internal policies and industry regulations. Assist with audits and other compliance activities.
Qualifications:
- Skills:
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly.
- Understanding of land development processes and real estate markets is highly desirable.
