Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Norcross, Georgia
Schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote per week.
Pay: $70-80K depending on experience
Position Objective:
Reporting to the VP Finance, the Financial Analyst will be a proactive, independent thinker with strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role involves providing financial and strategic support to senior management, including P&L reporting, KPI/metrics analysis, monthly close reporting, preparing board presentations, financial projections, and other projects as requested by senior leadership. This position serves as the analytical engine of the organization, offering insights to support business decision-making. Close collaboration with the CFO and other executives is essential, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Prepare monthly close materials for use in the Executive Meeting.
- Support Financial Accounting by preparing analysis and entries for various lines of business.
- Gather and produce key performance metrics for operational units and board-level reporting.
- Assist with the annual planning cycle.
- Design, create, and/or customize financial models in Excel to help management understand the impacts of key business drivers. Present findings in PowerPoint or other appropriate formats.
- Create financial models of "what-if" scenarios to support business planning decisions.
- Assist in the company’s forecasting process using the Workday Adaptive Planning tool. Serve as the subject matter expert on Adaptive, including the ability to design ad hoc reports and train others.
- Leverage the Data Warehouse to drive business analytics.
- Undertake other projects as assigned.
Requirements:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.

EXPERIENCE: Experience working in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) environment with recurring revenue companies, with a strong understanding of concepts such as Bookings, ARR, Backlog, Churn, and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced computer skills with a strong proficiency in Excel (including complex formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and the ability to build complex financial models.
- Experience in developing executive and board-level reporting packages.
- Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar Financial Planning software.
- Experience with Oracle EBS or similar financial accounting/ERP software.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business analytics/visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex business concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work hours necessary to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with executives, customers, and partners at all organizational levels.
