Job Description

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at a respected cardiology center in John's Creek, GA. As a CT Technologist, you will work closely with patients, radiologists, and staff to deliver exceptional care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan Performance: Perform high-quality CT scans, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Workflow Management: Efficiently manage the CT schedule and workflow to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
• Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
• Image Quality: Ensure high-quality image production for accurate diagnoses and treatments.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports based on radiologists' interpretations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent technical issues and downtime.
• Communication: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize workflows.
• Supply Chain Management: Order necessary supplies for the CT department, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruptions.
• Accreditation Support: Assist with accreditation efforts, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Pre-Authorization: Help facilitate pre-authorization for scheduled exams, streamlining the process and reducing administrative burdens.

Qualifications

• Education and Certifications: Must hold a degree from an accredited radiologic technology program, be registered with the ARRT, and possess basic life support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: Minimum one year of experience in radiologic technology, preferably with coronary CT experience.
• Certifications and Skills: Advanced certification in CT desired, proficiency in venipuncture, and ability to administer contrast materials.
