Data Engineer

Duration: Contract - 1 year

Pay Rate: $41/hr

Skills: AWS, SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB or Redis), AWS certification preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, related

field, or equivalent professional experience.

Strong familiarity with cloud-based and distributed databases (especially AWS).
Expertise in managing and refactoring NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) and

relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Proficiency with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development

environments.

Deep knowledge of domain-driven design principles and their application in

database architecture.

Job Description

Experience with database security practices, including encryption, access

control, and data anonymization techniques.

Experience with database testing, including performance testing, security testing,

and data integrity testing.

Proficiency in test data management, ensuring data consistency and compliance

with data privacy regulations.

Familiarity with Database as Code tools and practices is a plus.
Previous experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) is a plus.
Software engineering or test engineering background is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative

environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary : $41
