Job Description

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to work on Class 8 trucks and heavy equipment. This is a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits!

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine maintenance and safety related repairs on all Class 8 trucks
  • Diagnose pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems including component failures and repairs
  • Change tires, make brake adjustments, and fix lights
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Operate forklift

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Diesel engine / heavy equipment mechanic experience
  • Welding experience
  • Ability to perform DOT safety regulated repairs
  • Class A CDL license a plus
