Medical Assistant

Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Greenville, SC
Salary: $18-21 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in both front and back office duties as required.
• Handle chronic care phone communications with patients.
• Room patients, ensuring a smooth flow of appointments.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing.
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments as needed.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics/Family Medicine, Chronic Care, or Cardiology settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EMR system is a plus
• Comfortable working with chronic care patients and handling related phone calls.
• Flexibility to work from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to patient care.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
