Location: Remote
Pay: $75K-90K a year
The Medical Records / Payroll Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate and organized medical records, processing payroll, and supporting administrative functions. This role ensures compliance with regulations while handling confidential employee and patient information with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities of Medical Records / Payroll:- Maintain and organize medical record files in accordance with facility and state-specific regulations.
- Process patient admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring records are up to date.
- Pull and respond to medical record requests by established deadlines.
- File loose reports and ensure all documentation is properly stored.
- Process employee payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain payroll records, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee and patient records.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Experience in Medical Records
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills, including payroll and record-keeping software.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Long-term care experience is a plus!
