Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct and indirect patient care within an onsite employee health clinic at a major car manufacturing facility. You will be an integral part of ensuring the health and well-being of the plant's workforce. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating acute and chronic health problems, managing occupational injuries, and implementing preventative health programs under the supervision of a collaborating physician. Essential Functions:
- Perform pre-employment and annual wellness physical examinations.
- Manage acute and chronic health problems using evidence-based protocols, developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans under physician protocols.
- Provide health screenings, vaccinations, and other disease prevention programs.
- Evaluate and treat employees for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Report and review complex cases with the collaborating physician and plant management.
- Oversee occupational health testing, such as respirator and auditory assessments, performed by clinic staff.
- Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions to meet the diverse health needs of employees.
- Uphold high ethical standards and practice within the scope of practice outlined in established protocols.
- Provide patient education, health coaching, and advocate for employee health.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
- Monitor the effectiveness of medical interventions and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including safety personnel and HR, by making appropriate referrals.
- Accurately and promptly enter patient data into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Assist in all areas of the onsite clinic as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or occupational health setting required.
- DEA license preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in an industrial setting is a plus.
Salary : $55 - $60
