Sr. Director of Finance/Controller

Prestige Staffing is looking for a Controller for one of our healthcare clients in Chattanooga, TN. This will be a direct hire position. The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations within the healthcare system. This role includes but is not limited to managing accounting functions, establishing and maintaining budgetary controls and procedures, conducting technical accounting analyses, and preparing internal and external financial reports and filings. The Controller plays a pivotal role in supporting the company's growth through process improvements and ensuring compliance with vital internal controls.

Location: Chattanooga, TN
Pay: $160K (depending on experience), plus up to 25% bonus

Summary:
Responsible for corporate accounting and statistical records, preparation of financial statements and reports, financial reporting to outside agencies, annual audit, tax reporting, payroll, accounts payable, and property records for the health system. Evaluates various programs and projects establishing proper controls and documentation to safeguard the organization’s assets through accounting procedures and records.

Requirements:

• Masters in Accounting or Business Administration
• CPA required
• Min of 7 years of progressive experience in finance preferably in healthcare
• Prefer recent experience in a hospital environment or healthcare
• Able to manage up to 15 FTE's
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word
• Prefer knowledge of Kronos, Epic and PeopleSoft
• 3 years of public accounting experience in auditing
• Able to pass criminal background and health screening

• 12 direct reports (onsite, remote & hybrid) in Accounting, Payroll and Disbursements (Accounts Payable)
• Located onsite with some ability to work remote
• $160-200K with 20-25% bonus
• Would be open to relocation for the right candidate
