The Cruise Promotion Specialist would be working with our Cruise Division (PrestigeCruises.com), who offers pre-packaged cruise vacations to destinations around the world.
We are looking for a strong-minded individual who is looking to be involved with building exclusive promotions to be promoted in our call center and online. We are a fast-growing cruise company that assists our clients who love cruising and seeing the world. We'll provide you with all the training, tools and support you need to succeed and grow within our organization.
This person will assist with verifying that all perks associated with their promotional cruise are accurate so that the promotion flows smoothly. Clearly communicating with sales team and supervisory team any discrepancies on promotions. Associate will also assist in the back-office system so that all sales are tracked accordingly.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
What You’ll be doing: A DAY IN THE LIFE of a Cruise Promotions Specialist
- Working in excel, google sheets to verify new cruise sales amenities are correct.
- Communicate with sales and supervisory team to address any quality assurance issues.
- Create promotions and emails for our consumer site.
- Build rate codes and google sheets that are understandable outside of the industry.
- Following company procedures are being followed in a methodical and chronological way to ensure the protection of guests and PrestigeCruises.com.
- Research, explore and study different travel destination options.
- Stay up to date on destination requirements including customs, weather conditions, government regulations and staying up to date on covid procedures for respective cruise lines and destinations.
- Attend training in person sessions and online training with preferred cruise lines to stay up to date on industry/travel changes and enhancements.
- Communicate with specific organizational support departments as necessary and escalate major issues to the appropriate supervisor to ensure quick resolution for our clients.

- Physical requirements: Ability to sit for up to 8 hours a day using a computer and telephone simultaneously. Ability to see and read multiple monitors and to answer incoming calls in accordance to achieve call metrics.

- Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast paced environment.

What You’ll Bring
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Google Sheets, General Computer skills, and Smart Devices.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Average typing speed minimum of 50 WPM.
- Takes ownership of all work performed and communicated.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Recognize, apply, and explain cruise product and service knowledge.
- Client/Account Management CRM experience. Client Base a Plus.
- Cruise Experience a Plus.
- Experience in fast-paced environment and accountability on call metrics

· Must be flexible and able to evenings, and weekends when needed. Current Cruise Center operating hours are Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 8:00PM and Saturday & Sunday 6am-5:30pm.
· Schedule provided 4 weeks in advance.
