In addition, they may need to monitor the performance of transportation providers, as well as track shipments and progress. Finally, they may also be responsible for preparing reports on transportation operations and performance. The Transportation Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the efficient movement of goods and services within an organization.
