Gardener

Preston Earth is a small company that strives to create and maintain environmentally sustainable, abundant and beautiful perennial and vegetable gardens in the Roaring Fork Valley.

We are a creative crew of gardeners, artists, outdoor athletes and generally good humans. We work as a team, practice good communication and enjoy the work we do.

​Experienced Gardener (25-40 hrs per week)

Ideal candidates will have 2 to 5 years of professional garden experience, understanding of design and an eye for detail. Candidates will be efficient, uphold high professional standards and perform quality work. Regular work tasks include: planting, weeding, amending soil, deadheading, pruning, digging, watering and raking in addition to managing a small crew. Candidate must be passionate about plants and gardening, detail oriented, and able to interact well with clients and coworkers. Experience with native, edible and ornamental gardening is highly valued. This position requires, heavy lifting, repetitive motions and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Garden Crew (24-32 hrs per week)

Candidate must be passionate about gardening and sincerely interested in plants, nature, farming, enjoy working outdoors and be detail oriented with a desire to do quality work . Regular work tasks include: planting, weeding, amending soil, deadheading, pruning, digging, watering and raking. One year of gardening or related experience is desired but we will provide training to the right candidate. This position requires, heavy lifting, repetitive motions and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
