- Starting Hourly Rate: $66
Responsibilities:
Provide Support, Oversight, and Administration for Changes Affecting ERCOT Facilities, Infrastructure, Hardware, Operating Systems, Database Platforms, Firmware, Network, and Software Environments in 24/7 IT Operations. - Essential Job Duties:
- Organize and Facilitate Effective Release Planning Meetings.
- Manage Release Schedules and Key Infrastructure Initiatives Across Multiple Applications.
- Plan, Manage, and Execute Release Cycles, Including Tracking Release Deliverables and Functional/Security Test Sign-Offs.
- Prepare Release Plans for Various Applications and Track Their Progress.
- Coordinate Release Builds to the Appropriate Environments (Testing, Production, etc.).
- Analyze Data Using SQL to Generate Release Metrics and Scorecards.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders to Establish a Consistent and Predictable Release Cadence.
- Cross-Functional Dependency Management Mapping for Various Releases.
- Flexibility to Work Outside of Business Hours as Needed to Support Release Deployments.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Field Required.
- 6 Years of Relevant Experience Can Be Substituted for Degree Requirement.
- ITIL V4 Certification Preferred.
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience in IT Change and Release Management.
- 5 Years of Experience in System Integration Processes.
- Understanding of ITIL Best Practices in IT Service Management (Change/Release/Incident/Problem) Management.
- Working Knowledge of Tools Like Jira, Confluence, and Service Now.
- Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge/Experience is a Plus.
- SQL/VB Scripting/Data Analysis Knowledge is a Plus.
