Foreman

Location: Nationwide Travel Required

As a Foreman at Preston Refrigeration, you'll assist your superintendent in leading a hardworking crew of General Laborers and welders as we travel across the U.S. building and maintaining the country's top refrigerated facilities. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to showcase your leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, all while ensuring projects stay on track and safe.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise & Lead: Oversee a team of General Laborers and welders, ensuring everyone is working efficiently and maintaining a safe job site.
• Site Management: Coordinate material handling, set up, and tear down at job sites, making sure everything is secured and safe.
• Maintain Job Site Safety: Ensure your team follows all safety protocols, and report any incidents or hazards to the Job Site Superintendent or Director of Safety. Assist with Daily JHA's and safety forms. (I know it kind of says it here " Ensure your team follows all safety protocols " but I think it would be good to spell out directly)
• On-the-Ground Leadership: Set the standard for a clean, organized job site by working alongside your team, picking up tools and securing equipment.
• Problem Solving: Lead with a solutions-based mindset, addressing challenges and keeping your crew motivated and on track.
• Travel Nationwide: Travel to various sites across the U.S., working on projects that shape the future of the cold-storage industry.
• Other Responsibilities: Take on additional duties as needed to keep the project on schedule and running smoothly.

• Experienced & Qualified: You have experience in construction or a related field, ideally with supervisory experience, and hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Physically Capable: You can lift and carry heavy items for extended periods of time.
• Travel-Ready: You're prepared to travel 90%-100% of the time with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Strong Communicator: You lead by example and possess effective communication skills that help keep the team aligned.
