We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Counter Cashier & Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service. You will handle transactions, answer customer inquiries, and assist with various tasks to ensure a smooth operation at the front counter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer issues or concerns in a professional manner.
- Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and provide product or service information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front counter and lobby area.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and monitoring product levels.
- Support other team members with tasks and projects as needed.
- Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new software.
