What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Next Gen Worship Coordinator position at Preston Trail Community Church?
JOB OVERVIEW
The Next Gen Worship Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and leading worship experiences, birth through high school, to ensure a cohesive worship experience across Next Gen environments.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Shepherd, recruit, schedule, and train coaches and Trail Kids volunteer teams.
- Collaborate with Next Gen Programming Director to create engaging experiences across large group and small group environments.
- Coordinate planning and evaluation of all Next Gen worship experiences.
- Supports Programming Director and helps execute stage design and set development.
- Drive the ministry with a holistic lens that innovates new ways to reach the next generation.
- Participates in Next Gen ministry meetings and events
- Collaborate with the Next Gen teams to create a cohesive experience for kids, students, and families
Early Childhood and Elementary Worship:
- Shepherd and empower worship coaches to lead teams of volunteers
- Design quarterly worship sets and choreography for TrailKids environments
- Update quarterly worship sets on social platforms and hallway music folders for all TrailKids environments
- Works with our Parent Communication Director to develop and own a Parent Communication strategy for the TrailKids Worship Team
Preteen & PTSM Worship:
- Collaborate with our contract/staff worship leaders and equip them to be champions of Next Gen Minimum Standards for Production and Worship
- Provides support with creating a pipeline of student volunteer band members and vocalists
- Ensure worship sets are scheduled at least one month out for Preteen and student environments
- Collaborates with worship team on song selection for Preteen and Student environments
- Works with Programming Director and Worship Team to create an aligned and strategic worship experience through all of Next Gen Environments
