A Drum Filler is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of drum filling processes and equipment. This involves carefully monitoring the drum-filling process, ensuring accurate measurements and maintaining consistent product quality.

A Drum Filler is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of drum filling processes and equipment. This involves carefully monitoring the drum-filling process, ensuring accurate measurements and maintaining consistent product quality.
Your Role at Prestone
- Prepare drums for filling (correct weight, drum inspections)
- Manually operate filling arm and filling hoses
- Use in-house system to print and apply code date label on each drum
- Apply required labels on each drum and relabel when required
- Inspect drums and drum pallets for defects
- Stretch wrap drums on pallet and prepare for shipment
- Follow rework process for rejected drums
- Acquire product analysis and drum label verification form and attach Certification of Analysis (COA) with shipment
- Transport drums with Forklift to assigned location
- Alert/Stop production at any time for quality related issues and notify management
- Purge solution
- Daily 5S of drum filling area
- Support in the filling department as an Operator when required
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Math (addition & subtraction)
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work with personnel at all levels
- Ability to perform at a high level of safety standards and requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in manufacturing
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a drum filler or similar capacity
- Minimum of six (6) months sit-down forklift experience.
