Description
Position Summary:
Provides support to the Communications Department of Prestonwood Baptist Church (PBC) while assisting in video creation and production to maintain and enhance digital strategy and social media presence.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Communications on all projects for social media
- Create and edit weekend highlights from PBC services
- Create and edit weekly sermon quotes
- Create and edit ads for paid marketing
- Create and edit ministry and event highlight videos
- Oversee pop-up editing and content needs
- Create graphics and other visual elements for videos
- Create motion graphics videos as needed
- Protect branding based on pre-determined guidelines
- Maintain PBC’s YouTube channel, graphics, and layout
- Assist in content creation for PowerPoint Ministries social media as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC
- Strong collaborative, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong proactive skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with assigned deadlines
- Ability to create graphics content in After Effects
- Ability to complete current editing projects in Premiere Pro
- Experience working with social media platforms and file requirements
- Willingness to learn new software and trends
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Working knowledge of the Sony Alpha line
- Basic 3-Point lighting skills
- Social media proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, X(Twitter) and YouTube
- Ability to work varying schedules including evenings and weekends (generally Sunday - Thursday)
- Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, and able to perform continuous, sit at a desk for and complete repetitive hand and finger movements over an extended period of time
