Position Summary :
Provides support to the Communications Department of Prestonwood Baptist Church (PBC) while assisting in video creation and production to maintain and enhance digital strategy and social media presence.
Responsibilities :
Work closely with Communications on all projects for social media
Create and edit weekend highlights from PBC services
Create and edit weekly sermon quotes
Create and edit ads for paid marketing
Create and edit ministry and event highlight videos
Oversee pop-up editing and content needs
Create graphics and other visual elements for videos
Create motion graphics videos as needed
Protect branding based on pre-determined guidelines
Maintain PBC's YouTube channel, graphics, and layout
Assist in content creation for PowerPoint Ministries social media as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements :
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC
Strong collaborative, communication, and organizational skills
Strong proactive skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with assigned deadlines
Ability to create graphics content in After Effects
Ability to complete current editing projects in Premiere Pro
Experience working with social media platforms and file requirements
Willingness to learn new software and trends
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
Working knowledge of the Sony Alpha line
Basic 3-Point lighting skills
Social media proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, X(Twitter) and YouTube
Ability to work varying schedules including evenings and weekends (generally Sunday - Thursday)
Able to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, and able to perform continuous, sit at a desk for and complete repetitive hand and finger movements over an extended period of time
