Position Overview
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape construction and enhancement projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the company's quality standards. The Production Manager interfaces with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while providing guidance to Crew Leaders and coordinating with internal departments such as Sales, Estimating, Human Resources, and Accounting. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Job Duties
- Manage landscape and hardscape projects to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality completion, maintaining strict adherence to safety and company standards.
- Oversee project start-up, installation, and maintenance activities, communicating goals, schedules, and progress to team members and clients.
- Conduct regular inventory, program irrigation controllers, and advise on materials, plant health treatments, and necessary operational adjustments.
- Maintain accurate service records, schedules, and documentation, coordinating closely with the Account Manager to address evolving project and maintenance needs.
- Ensure proper upkeep of vehicles, equipment, and work sites through preventive maintenance measures, housekeeping standards, and adherence to company policies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by attending walkthroughs, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of landscape management experience.
- 1-3 years of Microsoft Suite (Outlook/Word/Excel) experience
- High School diploma
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- Bilingual
