Role Description
This full-time Estimator role is based on-site in Newton, KS. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for various projects, analyzing blueprints and specifications, collaborating with project managers and engineers, and maintaining detailed records of project costs and pricing. The role involves a thorough understanding of precast concrete construction and requires precise attention to detail to ensure accurate project budgeting.
Qualifications
- Experience with cost estimation, pricing, and budget management
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other team members
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred
- Previous experience in the precast concrete industry is a plus
