Job Summary :
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to oversee the organization of shipments, inventory management, and tool crib operations. This role will ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, inventory records are well-maintained, and the tool crib is organized for efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, hold a valid forklift certification, and possess excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities :
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Manage inventory levels by organizing, tracking, and conducting regular physical counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Tool crib, ensuring tools are checked in and out efficiently.
- Monitor and coordinate tool maintenance, repair schedules, and replacements.
- Utilize computerized inventory and shipping systems to log shipments, update inventory records, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to address discrepancies or improve processes.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and workplace procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
