Job Overview
Pretium Enterprise Services (PES) is seeking a director-level change management professional to join our team in the private equity sector. The Director of Change Management will be responsible for leading and driving change management throughout the Pretium ecosystem, ensuring strategic initiatives, projects, and organizational transformations are implemented successfully. This role involves working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to guide change processes, to develop strategies and plans to drive organizational change, and to minimize resistance. The Director will also be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and supporting employee engagement throughout the change journey.
This position will be hybrid in office at existing Pretium ecosystem office locations, including Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; or Scottsdale, AZ.
What You’ll Do
Strategic leadership: lead the development and execution of change management strategies for large-scale organizational initiatives; collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into actional change management plans; define and implement change management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the ecosystem; act as a trusted advisor to executives on change-related matters, offering guidance and support.
Change implementation: lead and manage change initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives; ensure the development of comprehensive communication plans to support change initiatives and ensure clarity at all levels of the organization; identify potential risks and obstacles to successful change implementation and work to mitigate them.
Stakeholder engagement: build relationships and establish trust with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders; influence and align leaders and employees with the change process, driving engagement, commitment, and adoption; facilitate training, workshops, and other activities to support employees in adapting to change.
Change impact and metrics: measure the effectiveness of change management efforts, using data and feedback to make informed decisions; prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting change process, challenges and successes.
Team management: lead, coach, and mentor team members through change strategy and plan execution; ensure professionals are equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and skills to succeed.
Continuous improvement: foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for optimizing change management processes; keep abreast of industry trends and best practices, and integerate them into the organization’s change management strategy.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources, or a related field. Master’s degree and relevant certifications (e.g., Prosci Change Management) are highly desirable.
Experience: 10 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a related field, with 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of both executing and leading change management initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Strong knowledge of change management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model)
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues and prioritize tasks effectively.
