Senior Manager Production Planning

Role Summary:

The Senior Manager of Production Planning will lead efforts to implement benchmark strategies that improve production costs and timelines while maintaining a strong focus on safety through precise and effective production scheduling. You will oversee the end-to-end production planning process, ensuring alignment between demand planning, operations capabilities, and overall business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the production planners’ team to enhance the end-to-end production planning process over the next 15 months, optimizing capacity constraints and addressing supply chain disruptions.
• Facilitate the SIOP Cycle 02 - Supply Planning discussions, accurately calculating production capacity by line and asset model group.
• Implement and monitor daily Production Attainment KPIs, collaborating with operations teams and plant managers to identify areas for improvement.
• Reduce overproduction and streamline the number of production work orders released by production lines.
• Effectively balance and transfer sales demand among manufacturing facilities, coordinating with sales, operations, inventory management, and quality teams.
• Assess and improve the utilization of production planning modules in ERP systems; evaluate the potential for a consolidated production planning IT system at Pretium.
• Maintain up-to-date asset (machine) information across facilities, including molds, tooling, and other equipment.
• Understand and analyze the yearly sales budget by site, customer, and SKU, determining necessary production working hours.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and operational procedures by the production planning team.

Your performance will be evaluated based on the following KPIs:

• Production Attainment
• Customer On-Time and In-Full (OTIF)
• Successful project implementations within scope, time, cost, and quality
• Development and execution of SIOP Cycle 02 - Supply Planning

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business Administration and an MBA in Supply Chain are a plus. Relevant proven experience will also be considered.
• Leadership experience managing production planning teams across multiple sites.
• APICS (ASCM) certification preferred (CPIM, CSCP).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (IQMS, Oracle, SAP) and experience with business intelligence tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certification is advantageous.
• Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
