What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Installation Technician position at PRETORIUS ELECTRIC & SIGN CO LLC?
We are a sign installation/electrical contractor located in West Bridgewater, MA. We have been in business since 1997.
We are seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined individual who has experience in the sign industry, construction or carpentry to join our team.
This role involves working with a variety of materials, tools and equipment to install signage for our clientele.
Individual should possess the following qualities:
- 1-2 years experience in related fields
- Detailed oriented and pride in workmanship
- Be physically able to lift up to 80 pounds
- Be comfortable working at heights in bucket trucks, manlifts and ladders
- Have verifiable, clean driving record (CDL and DOT health card a plus)
- Have own transportation to our shop. Travel to jobs in our vehicles.
Responsibilities will include:
- Install a wide range of signs
- Ensure proper alignment, placement and secure mounting of signs
- Work with different materials (vinyl, metal, acrylic, etc.) and tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work orders to ensure accuracy
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing signage as needed
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure job requirements are met
- Follow safety protocols and work in compliance with safety standards
- Transport and handle signage and equipment to and from job sites
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
