Event Delivery Team Member (Part Time)
Pretty Little Wedding Co. (PLW) is a Maryland based wedding and event rental company that provides specialty rental items to clients in Maryland and surrounding areas. Pretty Little Wedding Co. (PLW) is in search of delivery team members that are professional and have outstanding customer service.
We are looking for part time delivery team members who can fill in on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays during our busy season. This would be a great opportunity for supplemental income! Shifts will consist of assisting our drivers with loading, transporting, and setting up tables, chairs, and other furniture for weddings and events. There will be early mornings, late nights and long hours. It is hard work, but you will have fantastic coworkers and be part of a growing company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow best practices for safety, at our warehouse, on the road and at delivery locations
- Work in a team to ensure all deliveries and pick-ups run smoothly.
- Ensure rental items are loaded, transported, and delivered securely
- Set-up bars, tables and specialty furniture at a wedding or event according to a layout or client direction
- Professionalism, friendliness, and being a team player is an absolute must!
- Punctuality. Tardiness will not be tolerated
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 75
- Experience loading/unloading a truck preferred
- Availability Friday - Sunday, weekends are mandatory
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
