What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Groomer position at Pretty Paws Grooming Salon?
Pretty Paws Grooming Salon in Nampa, ID is looking for one dog groomer to join our 9 person strong team. We have a wonderful group that gets along very well and loves coming to work. We are located at 2623 Southside Blvd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.
The job is available to full-time or part-time options. We have more customers than we can currently take care of so you will easily be booked out as soon as you start.
This position is W2 based pay that is primarily commission with hourly as a fallback option. The commission is 55% of groom work plus tips.
Semi-flexible schedule based on ability to work around current groomer's schedules.
Responsibilities
- Grooming Dogs
- Setting your own schedule
- Cleaning up after yourself. It will need to be very tidy.
- Must be a self-starter.
Qualifications
- Must have prior grooming experience. We will not consider anyone without any prior experience.
- Inexperienced individuals might be considered with the intent to train to become full groomers within the next couple of years.
