We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This position is essential for ensuring that both residential and commercial spaces are welcoming and well-kept. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain floors through buffing and floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance.
- Conduct custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, adhering to high cleanliness standards.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
- Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary supplies and materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from building occupants.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care methods and equipment operation is beneficial.
- Experience as a porter or in facilities maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
